Types of Non Small Cell Lung Cancer
There are three main types of NSCLC, Squamous cell carcinoma, Adenocarcinoma, and Large cell carcinoma, and each is named for the types of cells that were transformed to become cancerous. All carcinomas are cancers which develop in epithelial cells. Epithelial cells functions are covering, protecting and providing a barrier with in the body.
